In my younger years I thought charm bracelets were a ‘new age’ type of jewellery that you would see adorning the wrists of free spirited types that wore floaty dresses and flowers in their hair.
I also remember the bracelets to be quite a chunky chain and you would attach a charm pendant via a clasp. They were very jangly and it was easy to get them snagged.
If that is how you remember charm bracelets then you might be interested to know how they have evolved.
Loving the Lovelinks!
Lovelinks is a brand of jewellery that was created by the Scandinavian manufacturer Aagaard. Their jewellery selections include earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets within 3 collections:
- Lovelinks
- Petite (a smaller version of Lovelinks)
- Blog (Lovelinks for men)
What makes this brand of jewellery so unique is that you can personalise each piece from a a fantastic range of links (or beads) that come in glass, sterling silver and gold.
The charm bracelets I remember were quite bulky chains and you had to clip each charm onto a link on that chain. Lovelinks bracelets are designed so the link slides onto the chain making the whole bracelet far more secure and the overall effect is quite stunning.

Start off with a Lovelinks bracelet chain

Perhaps you could include your zodiac sign?

Add colour with murano glass beads (available as singles or sets)

Personalise with links that represent something you love

Bling it up with sparkling crystal

As well as the links you slide on, you can still get some beautiful 'clip on' pendant links

Or you could start off with a Lovelinks limited edition complete bracelet
Those are just a little snapshot of what is available by Lovelinks. It would be impossible to show you everything so the next thing you should do, if you like the look of these is have a look yourself for shops that sell Lovelinks.
Where to Buy Lovelinks
There are many high street jewellery shops selling Lovelinks these days from the small boutique jewellers to the large chains such as Goldsmiths who offer fabulous discounts if bought with Tesco club card points. You can find a Lovelinks Stockist in major cities including Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, London and Glasgow and also in towns and villages throught the UK. LovelinksJewellery.org.uk has a huge list of shops where you can buy Lovelinks, Petite and Blog by Aagaard. Of course, you could also try a simple search using Google, MSN or Yahoo too!
Lovelinks Tips
- Petite are the same quality as the main Lovelinks they are just smaller (and cost less!)
- Lovelinks beads fit on Pandora bracelets (Lovelinks beads cost less than Pandora beads and in my opinion look just as stunning)
- You don’t have to fill the bracelet with links and beads. The bracelets look equally as stunning with just a few, just look at the limited editions
- You can co-ordinate your lovelinks jewellery to match what you are wearing. Got lovely new red dress but your bracelet doesn’t match? Simply swap the beads for some that do match and you have a completely new and co-ordinating bracelet without having to buy another chain.
Those pieces of jewellery look absolutely beautiful. Would love to own one of them!
Does lovelinks PETITE charms fit onto the pandora silver bracelet? Thanks
